Hi

I came across your site looking for something else. I agree wired ethernet is safer than Wifi. You may have mentioned this somewhere, but I'd add switch off the WiFi and Bluetooth on all devices if you don't use it. I only buy laptops with a hardware switch for controlling wireless. I have a place in Monaco, and cellsites are not allowed in the country. There are some pico sites in large buildings (eg shopping malls and similar) but all the external service comes from France and Italy. Monaco Telecom seems to operate as a virtual network on France Telecom's Orange system - no roaming charges when visiting France as a result. Unlike Andorra which has its on system STA. Switch off everything is good for battery saving on smart phones - turning it back on selectively when needed. MC's cable TV boxes require an IP connection to the net also for firmware updates and VoD - but they give the option of Ethernet. Landlines cost less (especially VoIP) and are healthier - I only use mobile in an emergency. ciao
