With your router you can normally just turn off the radio section in setup. I don't think your neighbour's wireless burglar alarm is causing you problems - their sensors don't transmit constantly, and when they do it's at low power, at a non-microwave frequency, for a couple of seconds - any wireless game controller will give you a much bigger exposure. You need to buy one of the £50 audio electrosmog detectors if you're really interested - you can always sell it on later.
